1. Smart water - ice cold - in the 33.8 oz size.
2. Tabloids galore.
3. Paperbacks - super cheap and super cheesy - just the way I love 'em.
4. Drugs. Y'know the good kind. Like Claritin. After all, the pollen count around here is so high the meteorologist joked "we need a new scale."
4. The best skin care and hair care products. On the cheap.
5. Make up. Make up. Make up. Did I mention the bright shiny glimmering aisles and aisles of make up at reasonable prices?

6. Most locations open 24 hours. 7. Nice people working at the Pharmacy. 8. Express pay for prescriptions 9. Every kind of splint, testing machine, anti-fungal cream and other items too embarrassing to mention, but critical when you need them.
Ok, if memory serves me correctly from my time living in the US, Walgreens is a pharnacy, correct? I remember that we didnt have one - i cant remember the name of the one we had in my town ( Summit, NJ ) but its logo is red....
John, you are so right. They have EVERYTHING! Plus some. And being open 24/7 is critical b/c illnesses occur at 2 am. Amy, yes it is a pharmacy. You may have had a Rite Aid or CVS - basically the same thing.
I adore Walgreens! Especially 24 hour Walgreens!
The boyfriend and I are night owls and would travel to our friendly neigborhood Walgreens at 3am quite frequently in slippers and sweats. My favorite purchase: a economy sized bottle of Mr. Bubble for $3.50. Completely unnecessary, but an undeniable bargain.
Oh, I adore those 3 am frivolous and fun purchases!
CVS! Thats the one!
